The Elk river broke through to the ocean, Southern Oregon Coast Fishing Report

Charlie and I headed south (Bishop, CA) and spent a few sunny days rock climbing, waiting out the 1st big fall rains of the year.  We're headed to the Oregon coast tomorrow. The Elk river has broken through to the ocean and the 1st salmon are now able to make their migration upstream.  The coastal rivers will start to drop tomorrow and should be fishable shortly thereafter.
