Chasing fish in Panama

Charlie and I and family landed in Panama City, truly the hub of the Americas, 2 weeks ago.  We enjoyed a sophisticated few days in the historic Casco Viejo district just outside of the Miamiesque downtown, meeting many warm locals, dining on exquisite cuisine and enjoying the architecture and the hum of central America by foot and bike. We then travelled through the countryside 6 hours to the tiny fishing now surfing village of Santa Catalina.  Surfing, snorkeling, fishing and enjoying the local ways for a few more weeks until we venture into the only cloud forest in Panama for a true jungle experience.  Pictured below are Charlie, his sister Cathy and brother in law Rich with their catch from a kayak adventure here at the local town beach...maybe a new offering from Fishing The Rogue? And a few other pics from Santa Catalina.
