The rivers will start to drop this weekend...

Robert with a hatchery Umpqua river steelhead.
Robert got one of the last days good days of fishing before the rivers blew out.  Good news is, all this rain has brought lots of fresh steelhead to the upper reaches of both the Rogue and the Umpqua. The rivers will start to drop this weekend and the fishing will be good on the south Umpqua near Canyonville and on the Rogue upstream from Grants Pass. Steelhead fishing should continue to improve through March.
