Fall Salmon Fishing & Fly Fishing Summer Steelhead - The Best of Both

Blue skies and mild temperatures have returned along with fall salmon. Our guides have been salmon fishing near the towns of Gold Hill and Grants Pass, well  known for deep salmon holes and productive fishing. If you're looking for a fall king now is the time. The next few weeks should be some of the best salmon fishing on the middle Rogue river this year. In these same scenic runs our guides have also been targeting summer steelhead which makes fishing trips doubly enjoyable.

The upper most section of the river from Cole Rivers hatchery to Fisher's Ferry boat ramp is now fly fishing only through the end of October. The change in regulations, which happens each year at this time, to protect spawning salmon gives fly fishermen and women the run of the upper river, targeting summer steelhead and trout among kindred spirits. Summer steelhead are in decent numbers in the upper Rogue and are some of the most fun fish to catch on the fly.

Whether a 1st time angler or an expert we can personalize a trip just for you.
